Mother - Daughter Tours

I would like to tell you a little bit of background on the Mother-Daughter tour and how it came to be. I have worked in the travel industry a very long time. In fact I became pregnant with my first child while I was working at my very first travel related job - Wardair (1985). In Reservations we were all hired as temps, and were only hired on permanently as jobs became available based on which training class we were in. While I was away having my daughter, my entire class was hired on permanently! Being such a great company it did not take long for Wardair to get it sorted out and hire me on permanently. Working for Wardair I had travel passes, and managed to take my 2 year old daughter on a couple of short trips before the airline was sold and we were all out of work. Through the years I worked at many different jobs within the travel industry, and started to travel quite a bit for work as well.  I really wanted to share my love of travel with my kids, and so I told my daughter, Megan, that when she turned 16 I would take her anywhere in the world she wanted to go (provided I was still working in the travel industry). She dreams big (clearly so do I), and her choice had always been Australia! Well it just so happens that when Megan turned 16, I was not working in the travel industry in that sense, I was working in resort administration. I had no access to travel agent deals, nor did I have the funds to take her to Australia. Well Megan is now 31 years old, and while we are not going to Australia, I do plan on fulfilling the promise I made to her so many years ago, and taking her on a big trip. When I was talking about the possibility of putting an Ireland trip together, she very quickly said she would be interested in going. And so, I have created the first Chicktrips Mother - Daughter trip.

I cannot think of a better way to spend some quality time with my adult daughter. So I would like to invite you to join Megan and myself on our Mother Daughter Irish Journey. We do have triple occupancy rooms, so if you have two daughters, you don't have to chose your favourite. How about three generations? Grandmother, Mother and Daughter - and if Grandma snores too loud, we do have single rooms too. No daughter - bring your mother, sister, niece or girlfriend. There's no real rules here - except we do ask that we keep it to adults and women only.
